DB8000 in Colombia for non-stop surveillance

Mobilis has developed a national network of DB 8000 data acquisition buoys for the CIOH (a branch of the Dirección General Marítima) in Colombia.

This buoy makes it possible to monitor the oceanographic and meteorological conditions in the area in real time, thus obtaining valuable data for research. It benefits from unique data redundancy, the transmission modes are : GSM / GPRS, AIS, Iridium, GOES and radio.

The ARC multipurpose hydrographic vessel “Roncador” organized its installation.
