Project study

MOBILIS already works on tomorrows’ equipment

MOBILIS has the three essential poles for project study :

  • A design office that ensures continuous development of products and solutions ;
  • A production plant to guarantee the quality manufacturing of the equipment ;
  • A solid sales network to ensure follow-up, warranty and after-sales service.

MOBILIS teams have taken into account the needs and technical specifications in the designs of their equipment, and have done so for more than 30 years.

The teams of engineers and naval architect are responsible for carrying out all the scientific studies necessary for the optimal functioning of the proposed solution, safety and respect of the environment.

MOBILIS uses powerful and precise design and analysis tools, allowing the optimization of the solutions offered.

MOORING LINE CALCULATION SOFTWARE, CALMAR

Developed by naval architects and the engineering department of MOBILIS, the CALMAR software allows the calculation of catenary mooring lines adapted to site conditions provided.

MAKING THE ANCHORING DEVICE RELIABLE WITH ORCAFLEX SOFTWARE

MOBILIS uses Orcaflex software for all hydrodynamic simulations on complex moorings.

It makes it possible to reproduce the buoy models, to draw the mooring line and to configure the site conditions to propose a secured solution.

SOLIDWORKS, MASTERED 3D DESIGN

Thanks to the experience since 1990 and the MOBILIS library of existing parts listed, the teams test and analyze various solutions, while verifying the essential safety elements such as the resistance of the materials.

For the production phase, the designers produce the 2D plans of the parts.

HYDROSTATIC AND STABILITY CALCULATIONS WITH AUTOHYDRO

Complete program of hydrostatic and state-of-the-art stability calculations, AUTOHYDRO allows MOBILIS naval architects to estimate the behavior and reaction of the buoy to various environmental conditions (current, wind, etc.) and to calculate its stability.
